I don't expect anyone to really read this, but it's a nice time-waster while waiting for Jonathan to finish cooking our mashed potatoes and hot cocoa!


1) How old do you wish you were? 25
2) Where were you when 9/11 happened? Cadiz dry lake bed, outside Palm Desert, CA. Logging temperature readings in a recently-drilled brine well. Working with ex cons. A stone's throw from Edwards Air Force Base.
3) What do you do when vending machines steal your money? Curse.
4) Do you consider yourself kind? I used to. Tonight, not as much. But generally, yes.
5) If you had to get a tattoo, where would it be? I already have one on my left shoulder. Another one? Hmm. Nipples?
6) If you could be fluent in any other language, what would it be? Spanish sure would be useful.
7) Do you know your neighbors? Not yet - Tom, are they creepy?
8) What do you consider a vacation? Right now, staying at someone's house and doing dishes and watching TV. In a few months, probably sunshine and an open road.
9) Do you follow your horoscope? Nope.
10) Would you move for the person you loved? I'm moving over 2000 miles in September, does that count?
11) Are you touchy feely? Yup. I'm a hippie, too.
12) Do you believe that opposites attract? Not physically, but I think people gravitate towards complementary partners.
13) Dream job? Head of logistics, mapping, and/or equipment development and repair for a large environmentally-minded mining and natural resources consulting company.
14) Favorite channel(s)? I don't have a TV.
15) Favorite place to go on weekends? To the park, camping, or backpacking.
16) Showers or Baths? Whenever possible, long, candle-lit luxurious baths!
17) Do you paint your nails? Almost never.
18) Do you trust people easily? For the most part.
19) What are your phobias? Edges (railings, sheer cliffs, bridges), hurting people, abandonment.
20) Do you want kids? Yes. Not for a few years, though.
21) Do you keep a handwritten journal? Yes, but I haven't written in it much since I returned from Asia.
22) Where would you rather be right now? 421 Birmingham Ave, Pittsburgh, PA.

24) Heavy or light sleeper? Fairly heavy, as long as I put my earplugs in first.
25) Are you paranoid? Emotionally, sometimes yes.
26) Are you impatient? When I'm driving in the city and/or haven't eaten enough, yes.
27) Who can you relate to? That's a really lame question.
28) How do you feel about interracial couples? I'm with jedipussytricks on this one: "They make pretty babies. What kind of question is this?"

38.) What color are your bed sheets? The ones in storage are baby blue.
39) How much cash do you have on you right now? I think about $12.
40) What is your favorite part of the chicken? The cluck.
41) What's your favorite town/city? I'm rather fond of Garibans, India. I liked Madurai a lot as well.
42) I can't wait till: I get to drink the hot cocoa that's waiting for me on the bedside table!
43) What's your favorite color? Chocolate brown and baby blue. Ideally together.
44) What did you have for dinner last night? Thai food - red curry with pumpkin, vegetables and tofu.
45) How tall are you barefoot? 5'2"
46) Have you ever smoked heroin? No.
47) Do you own a gun? No.
48) What do you prefer to drink in the morning? Cold water.
49) What is your secret weapon to lure in the opposite sex? Conversation.
50) Do you have A.D.D.? No.
51) What time did you wake up today? 9:30.
52) Current worry? I'll drive myself too deeply into anxiety and depression this summer, making burning man and my move to Pittsburgh a much more difficult experience.
53) Current hate? I can't think of anything I really *hate*.
54) Favorite place to be? Anywhere with avocado_tom
55) Where would you like to travel? Europe, Eastern Europe, Trans-Siberian, Tibet, South America, Africa, Antarctica, Greenland, Tazmania, and many, many more
56) Where do you think you'll be in 10 yrs? Somewhere on the east coast. Hopefully living on a farm or a quasi-rural piece of land.
57) Last thing you ate? Trader Joe's instant garlic mashed potatoes. Yum!
58) What songs do you sing in the shower? I don't sing in the shower.
59) Last thing that made you laugh? Jonathan calling the tasty mashed potatoes "potaste-oes!"
60) Worst injury you've ever had? Fell face-first off the slide in kindergarten and tore up my face pretty bad.
61) Does someone have a crush on you? I hope so!
62) What's your favorite candy? Kit Kats and Dagoba lavender+blueberry dark chocolate
63) What song do you want played at your funeral? That's a damn long ways off, I hope! Something fitting for the times, perhaps?
