For those of you who have been following the ongoing saga of the EIT/FE exam...

I am pleased and a bit terrified to announce that I have been deemed
eligible to take the FE exam this October. I just spoke to the State
Registration Board office and they'll be mailing out an acceptance
letter soon.

Now I just need to re-register, then study my tail off, and then pass
the damn thing. Then I can get on with the nuts and bolts of learning
how to actually *be* an engineer!

Note: I still reserve the right to give up engineering and go into
public radio at any time. Mara Liasson and Brooke Gladstone, watch
your backs!
