Oh, the little brat knows ALL about indoor stairs. When he gets out of Flint & Kristie's, it's into the main stairwell of their building (carpeted stairs going up 3 more floors). When you chase after him out the door, he pauses at the top of each landing he runs up, to taunt you, and then runs up the next set after you almost reach him. Then he lies down at the VEEERY top where he can't go any further, and purrs.
Then you pick him up (still purring) and he rides contentedly back downstairs in your arms, with this little smirk.
